Bachata 101 Workshop

Take this 2 hour Bachata basics dance class, with Erica Nicole, to learn the fundamental movements of this Latin Dance. We will practice and teach you the basics of bachata to build your dance skills. We recommend that you dress comfortably (ie. workout attire) comfortable shoes (tenis shoes, jazz shoes, dance heels, ect.) recommended as well. 

The workshop will include:

Hour 1:

• Introduction to Bachata Music & Sub Genres
• Basic Bachata Steps 
• Posture 
• Body Movement 
• Weight Change 
• Basic Footwork Combo 

Hour 2:

• Framing 
• Energy & Direction
• Lead/ Follow Techniques 
• Partner Combo
